Nothing But Thieves: Ολόφρεσκο ‘Overcome’

Οι Nothing But Thieves, κυκλοφόρησαν νέο κομμάτι και φαίνεται πως άγγιξε πολλές καρδιές. Το κομμάτι έρχεται από το τελευταίο από το επερχόμενο τέταρτο άλμπουμ τους, “Dead Club City“. Μη ξεχνάμε το το lead single “Welcome To The DCC“, το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε νωρίτερα, για να μπορέσει να ετοιμάσει το έδαφος.

Το νέο άλμπουμ ‘Dead Club City‘ πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει στις 7 Ιουλίου μέσω της RCA/Sony Music και φυσικά μπορείτε να το προπαραγγείλετε εδώ.

Μιλώντας για το νέο τραγούδι, η μπάντα δήλωσε:

“‘Overcome’ has always felt like a ‘throw your stuff in a bag and get away’ song. Dead Club City (the city) would definitely feel enticing for someone like that.

“We’re all battling something, so having a song on the album that would describe why someone would want change felt right.”

Αυτό που είπαν για το επερχόμενο άλμπουμ τους , είναι πως περιλαμβάνει 11 τραγούδια και πως “η συνολική αφήγηση διαμορφώνεται από διαφορετικούς χαρακτήρες και ιστορικά τόξα από την πόλη και γύρω από αυτήν”.

 “Το άλμπουμ θα είναι ένα από τα σημαντικότερα κομμάτια του δίσκου: “Είναι μια κοινή συνείδηση; Ένας άλλος πλανήτης; Η επόμενη εταιρική ερημιά; Ο παράδεισος; Ή κάπου αλλού;”

Και αφού έχουν νέο δίσκο, γιατί να μην κάνουν και αυτοί μια ωραία περιοδεία; Για αυτό λοιπόν θα ξεκινήσουν από το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και αργότερα θα πάνε στην γειτονική Ιρλανδία (τα φιλιά μας).

“It didn’t feel like we were done with the ‘Moral Panic’ theme – I think partly because we hadn’t been able to tour the project yet, it didn’t feel right to move on. But we also had the luxury of time to assess the album and explore some avenues we felt the album may have missed.”

“In that way, it was important that ‘Moral Panic II’ comprised of completely fresh, newly written songs rather than songs that just didn’t wind up making the album, like how a traditional deluxe version would function.

“There’s a familiarity, but we also really honed in on a new side of the band. ‘Part II’ really rounds ‘Part I’ out – the two parts should be enjoyed as one project.”
