Αν ψάχνετε κάτι από ηλεκτρονική μουσική που μπορεί να θυμίζει λίγο disco, λίγο 90’s και λίγο από το σήμερα, τότε σίγουρα θα πρέπει να ακούσετε τη νέα δουλειά των Astral Jackal!
Δεν ξέρω πόσες φορές άκουσα το Third και αυτό όχι για να γράψω κάτι, αλλά γιατί πραγματικά κόλλησα στο ρυθμό..
Δεν ξέρω αν είναι τα πλήκτρα που μου θυμίζουν συνθεσάιζερ εποχής ή τα τύμπαν που μας φέρνουν στο τώρα, σίγουρα όμως έρχεται στο μυαλό μια εποχή, που δεν μπορώ να προσδιορίσω, ίσως είναι η εποχής της καραντίνας, όπως και οι ίδιοι λένε “Music For The Quarantine Age“.

A surreal Ride Through Space
We’re Proud To Release The Sidereal EP!
We titled our EP after the practice of navigating by the distant star constellations, instead of the near solar bodies.
We meant to express how absurd and surreal everything has been lately, and how staying true to yourself in challenging times can feel like going through space a million miles per hour, even when you’re confined to your living room.
Astral Jackal is a remote team, composing music 10 time-zones apart, to express our journey through isolation and uncertainty
We first got together in April 2020 to release our first EP, A Solitary Howl, to express how we felt about the first round of global lockdowns.
From hope to despair and back again, we ignorantly ended that EP on a positive and hopeful note
For our second EP, we realize that this journey is much more long-winded that we’d like to believe, and definitely much more surreal.
