Οι Garbage ανακοίνωσαν την πρώτη τους περιοδεία μετά από σχεδόν 10 χρόνια! Πρόκειται για μια headlining περιοδεία 31 ημερών, κάτι που όπως φαίνεται και οι ίδιοι ήθελαν πολύ.
Όπως ανακοίνωσαν οι Garbage, θα ακολουθήσει μια φθινοπωρινή περιοδεία για την επερχόμενη κυκλοφορία του 8ου studio album του συγκροτήματος, Let All That We Imagine Be the Light, το οποίο θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 30 Μαΐου. Τα εισιτήρια της περιοδείας ξεκίνησαν σήμερα, 4 Απριλίου εδώ.
Η μοναδική Shirley Manson είπε πως ο διάδοχος του No Gods No Masters του 2021 θα ανατρέψει την οργή εκείνου του LP σε μια πιο αισιόδοξη προοπτική. Αυτό και μόνο μας κάνει να αναμένουμε πολλά!

Born out of frustration and outrage – it had a kind of scorched earth, pissed off quality to it” . “With this new record however, I felt a compulsion to reach for a different kind of energy. A more constructive one. I had this vision of us coming up out of the underground with searchlights as we moved towards the future.”

Η μπάντα, των Butch Vig, Duke Erikson και Steve Marker, ολοκλήρωσαν πρόσφατα την περιοδεία που είχαν στη Νότια Αμερική και στο Μεξικό στις αρχές Απριλίου.
Να θυμίσουμε πως η Manson χρειάστηκε να κάνει «χειρουργική επέμβαση και αποκατάσταση» για έναν αδιευκρίνιστο τραυματισμό που υπέστη σε περιοδεία στην Ευρώπη νωρίτερα μέσα στο έτος.
