Say Something is the second track anticipating Naimah‘s eponymous debut album, which will be out 10/10/2025.
With Say Something the group explores a suspended, intimate moment in which words – or their absence – become charged with meaning.
The song revolves around a seemingly simple request: to say something, but to say it at the right time, when everything is still fragile and true.
It’s a song that moves on tiptoe but leaves its mark, telling a story without ever declaring it. It speaks of the struggle to find true words in a time when there’s so much talk, but so little communication, and it does so without raising its voice, but rather allowing the void between the sentences, and between the notes, to convey how heavy silence can be.
The lyrics are simple, almost a whispered prayer, a request that isn’t shouted out. The sounds are soft, almost bare, and the singing is sweet, almost subdued, like someone trying to say something without knowing if it will truly be heard.

The Video
The music video for Say Something moves in the same subtle space as the song: that of communication.
Minimalistic in form yet deep in meaning, the video presents the four band members sitting across from each other in a seamless sequence.
They talk, they listen, sometimes they stay silent.
The images flow as if in a real conversation, with words spoken, unsaid, and glances that are as important as the dialogue.
The idea of the chairs placed face-to-face becomes symbolic: a place of confrontation and closeness, but also of distance and misunderstanding.
The result is a simple yet powerful, leaving the viewer free to find between the silences and gestures the same question that runs through the song’s lyrics: how difficult is it, today, to truly understand each other?

Naimah
The four members of Naimah met in 2023 at various jam sessions in Bologna, and this immediately sparked the right alchemy that led them to start the band.
What sets them apart is the absence of a drummer: the groove is crafted in an essential and minimal way through the use of a kick drum and percussion, which gives breath and space to the melodies and harmonies.
Their sound moves within an evocative and fascinating territory, where desert blues meets shades of soul, and alt.folk walks hand in hand with Mediterranean sounds, creating an intimate and deeply suggestive musical journey.
Preceded by two singles, Love and Die and Say Something, Naimah’s first album is a properly refreshing, sincere and original debut, which cannot be missed.
