Phillgood festival: The Cure, Gorillaz, Moby | July 17 -19

In July 2026, Plovdiv will host PHILLGOOD – a new, exciting music adventure by Fest Team that places Bulgaria among Europe’s leading festival destinations. Between July 17 and 19, the Rowing Canal will become the brightest stage on the Balkans – three days where the frequency shifts, the energy unfolds, and the audience finds that emotional restart everyone’s been longing for.
Bold, avant-garde, full of spirit – and most importantly, featuring artists fans have been dreaming about for years.
PHILLGOOD
On July 17, the stage of PHILLGOOD will belong to The Cure, a band whose influence has shaped generations for nearly five decades. After more than 1,800 concerts worldwide, they will finally perform in Bulgaria. Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Jason Cooper, Roger O’Donnell, and Reeves Gabrels will deliver a performance to remember.

Their latest studio masterpiece, “Songs of a Lost World”, proves that in an era where complete albums are increasingly rare, The Cure still create entire musical universes. And yes – it’s Friday, so the crowd will definitely be singing along to “Friday I’m in Love.”
On July 18, Gorillaz
will transform the Rowing Canal with their colorful visual world of sound, image, and imagination. The global phenomenon created by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett continues to blur the lines between the real and the digital, presenting parts of their upcoming 2026 album The Mountain, alongside timeless Gorillaz classics.
The grand finale on July 19 belongs to Moby –
artist, producer, and activist who has spent more than three decades turning electronic sound into space for reflection and compassion. Beyond his innovative music, Moby is known for his dedication to animal rights and environmental causes – commitments deeply woven into his art. His music merges the emotional depth of his classic compositions with the pulse of the present, embodying inner peace, strength, and forward motion. A fitting finale for PHILLGOOD’s debut edition, promising even more unforgettable names to come.
