Following the release of the original version last September, Australian band The Dharma Chain now presents a new remix by DJ and producer Mike Midnight, a prominent figure in Berlin’s electronic scene. The new version is now available on digital platforms via Spinda Records.
In Mike Midnight’s hands, “See Through” becomes a hazy, cinematic journey where the neo-psychedelic echoes of the original merge with industrial textures, ambient atmospheres, and broken downtempo and drum & bass rhythms.

The song, which in its original form explored the tension between faith and doubt —the struggle between the desire to believe and the impossibility of finding meaning in a seemingly purposeless world— now takes on a new dimension: more abstract, more subconscious, as if it floated somewhere between wakefulness and dream.
“I wanted to treat the vocals and guitars as if they were fragmented memories — echoes that appear and disappear within the same dream […] The idea was to turn the song’s melancholy into something more ethereal, almost as if it were floating in the subconscious.” — Mike Midnight

More about The Dharma Chain
Formed in Byron Bay, Australia, and now based in Berlin, The Dharma Chain continue to expand their neo-psychedelic universe. Following their debut ‘Nowhere’ (2022) and their recent signing with Spinda Records, the band is preparing their second album for spring 2026.
Both the original version of “See Through” and this remix serve as a bridge between these two phases, giving a glimpse of what’s to come on their next record.
